Colin Kroll, HQ Trivia and Vine app co-founder, dies in Ny aged 34

Colin Kroll, a technology executive who co-founded the HQ Trivia app, has been found dead in Los angeles along at the ages of 34.

The city’s police department said officers went to Kroll’s Manhattan apartment in the beginning Sunday after you have an unscheduled visit asking for a wellbeing weight and dimensions him. He was discovered unconscious and unresponsive on his bed.

He was pronounced dead on the scene. The New York medical examiner’s office will determine the reason behind death.

Kroll was the main executive with the trivia app, which livestreams short trivia shows to users and became increasingly popular after its release in 2017 before later experiencing a decline in popularity.

He seemed to be a founder of Vine, an app that was built around six-second videos, and that he worked for a period at Twitter.

Police have notified Kroll’s family and HQ Trivia release an announcement on Sunday saying: “We learned today within the passing of your friend and founder, Colin Kroll, as well as it with deep sadness that many of us say goodbye. Our thoughts go to his family, friends and spouse and children with this incredibly hassle.”

Kroll’s Vine and Trivia HQ co-founder, Rus Yusupov, posted condolences on Twitter.

“So sad to listen to in regards to the passing of my mate and co-founder Colin Kroll. My thoughts & prayers go out to his relatives. I can forever remember him for his kind soul and large heart. He earned the modern world and internet an even better place. Rest in peace, brother,” he tweeted.

Kroll had been mourned on Sunday as being a brilliant technology entrepreneur. But younger crowd had a controversial side together admitted being fired during the past for bad management and also for some inappropriate behavior towards women function.

He was named chief executive of HQ Trivia in September.
